Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

With a height of 19,340, Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the tallest free standing mountain in the world and is definitely one place you have to visit in Africa. The highest point is called the Uhuru and is accessible to anyone fit and adventurous; so if you’re looking for a real challenge why not join the pilgrimage and dare to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Djmaa el Fna, Morocco

If you’re looking for excitement then one place you have to visit in Africa is Marrakech. With so many places to visit, the Djmaa el Fna encompasses snake-charmers, henna-painters,story-tellers and many many many orange juice vendors. As the day slowly turns into night you can expect music, dancing and a variety of foods. If you’re on a budget you’ll be happy to know that you can always haggle prices with the locals.

Makgadikgadi Pans, Botswana

If you’re up for trying the weird and the wonderful then one place you have to visit is the Makgadikgadi Pans in Botswana. It is said that at the Makgadikgadi you are able to hear your own blood flow due to the dried up salt pans in the Kalahari Desert.  If you’re daring and a lover of nature then you’ll be happy to know that the Makgadikgadi is home to Zebra, Wildebeest, Meerkat, and beautiful Flamingos.

Bazaruto Archipelago, Mozambique

If you’re looking for a one of a kind adventure then you must visit the Bazaruto Archipelago. Situated on the Southern coast of Mozambique this picturesque island consists of four islands: Bazaruro , Bengneva, Santa Isobel and Santa Carolina.
