Las Ramblas is one of the most well-known landmarks in Barcelona. Live the Barcelonan life by walking down this famous strip and check out the amazing performers and interesting architecture. Make sure you stop for a drink as the atmosphere is known to reach high temperatures. Barcelona has almost three miles of coastline and is home to seven beautiful beaches such as the Sant Sebastia, Barceloneta, Nova Icaria and Mar Bella. So be sure to pack some sun cream and your best bikini or shorts because you can’t miss this opportunity to tan. Barcelona welcomes you to crystal blue water and golden sand and if you’re looking for the ultimate student beach why not visit Barceloneta which is most popular for its stretch of sand and restaurants and bars alongside it.

Museu Picasso

If you’re an art lover there’s no other place to visit than the Museu Picasso which displays the works of Picasso and his love for Barcelona. This Museum is free and is open to everyone so grab your friends together for a chilled day unravelling Picasso’s paintings. This museum contains the most complete collection of his art, making it easy to lose track of time.

Shop Till You Drop

After Paris, Barcelona can be said to be the second shopping Mecca so if you’re looking for high quality but affordable clothing and accessories then you’ve come to the right place. If you visit La Rambla you must visit Portal de L’Angel which is alongside this famous strip. A must see for your student bargains are the Diagonal Mar, L’illa Diagonal and the Maremagnum which are Barcelona’s most popular stores. If you’re thrift shopper or a vintage lover than you must visit the Carrer de Banys store and Mercat de Bellcaire market.

Tibidabo

Why not grab your friends for a morning trip to Mount Tibidabo for some of the most magnificent views there are in Barcelona. With so much to see at the Mount Tibidabo, here at StudentUniverse we believe it wouldn’t be a holiday if there isn’t an amusement park and it wouldn’t be right if you didn’t go for a ride. So after grasping the beautiful views and walking round the stunning churches; why not let your hair down and have some fun as Tibidabo amusement park, it will surely be a ride of your life.

Check out the Barrios of Eixample and Gracia

Once a separate village, Gracia has been connected to Barcelona Eixample since the nineteenth century and has become one the most visited areas by tourists. You would be able to explore these amazing two villages which are known for their juxtaposition as Eixample has wide avenues and Modernist architecture whilst Gracia is known for its small streets and interesting plazas. Gracia is the most Spanish of the two so before you head out to Barcelona it might be worth to brush on your Spanish as locals rarely speak English.

Club Opium

Opium is Barcelona’s most popular club and is very student friendly and is located right right off the beach in Barceloneta. Though Opium is very popular it stays exclusive and enforces a strict dress code to ensure you can dance the night away is style. If you’re looking the alternative music and a range of genres then you need to head down to Chupitos. This club offers a mixture of locals and visitors and its cheap drinks will keep you coming back as they are as little as 79p.
